Hi, great bike! take two flat blade screwdrivers; place 1 on top of pads, in between the pads, and the other opposite the first screwdriver then gently flex the screwdrivers sideways. You are squeezing the brake fluid back into the master cylinder on the handlebar. do it gently. you should now have enough room to slide the disc back into place and put the axle in. Happy riding.
Hello,
Never dealt with motorcycles, still if you are sure that there is no air in the brake liquid, check whether the braking disk/pads are not hooked or (irregularly) worn-out. If this is not the case, replace the braking mechanism (the cylinder which pushes the pads), if too expensive, clean the old one and reassemble with new rubber parts.
Please let me know whether I was able to assist.
That is a hard question to answer. A stock 1988 will not beat a 2010. If you have motor work done and suspension set up right it might run with a new one. The technology is far superior in the new bikes. A stock new motor is far more powerful than an old bike. The suspension is where you will get alot of your speed also. The new stock suspensions are darn near race ready with minimal tweeking.
yes buddy it is possible but converting a mx bike to road legal takes a bit a thing i would do is just give it to a garage as you have to put brake switches on brake pedals/levers also put switches on bars new harness its not a job anybody can do you have to be an expert to do
Hi! are you saying that the brakes got stuck? or stopped? if this is the case, disassemble and clean the rear brake, replace the brake fluid as well.
If you mean stop (engine stop) then clean the carburators and try it again. Use compressed air to blow through the needles and jets. Clean the fuel tank as well to make sure there's no rust or water deposits..
on the back mono shock, there is adjustment the raise it up a little bit. The front are usually a gsa type shock, and you can put air into some of them to raise the front.
