You need to get a manual for your bike...you should have adjustment behind the clutch cover. Might need to change the fibers and steels of the clutch.

Clutch wont engage after new install

Maybe the clutch master cylinder is not building hydraulic pressure? The internal seals in it may not be holding. Watch the slave cylinder push the clutch lever while someone presses the clutch pedal. If travel is not enough and was bled properly, you may need a new master cylinder.

How do you adjust the clutch able on a bandit

are you trying to adjust the lever engagement or is the clutch - slipping ( or dragging )
i thought that this bike has a hydraulic clutch - but if it is cable operated - there will be an adjuster at each end of the cable - loosen the locknut and either tighten or loosen as required - there should be some slack at the lever - about 1/8 inch or 5 degrees of travel - re-tighten the locknut

I have a 1995 katana and i shift to first and instantly dies how do i fix that?

Sounds like it has a problem with the clutch or clutch adjustment not not fully disengaging.
1. If it is a cable type clutch, unlock the thumb nut and tighten the clutch adjusting screw located on the clutch handle until it has about an 1/8 inch space(while squeezing the lever and just before pressure is felt) between the clutch lever and the bracket the holds it.
2. If it is a hydraulic type clutch there is no adjustment. In either case the clutch lever should have pressure on it almost immediately when you squeeze it. If very little or no pressure is felt and it is a hydraulic clutch, it may need bleeding or it has a bad master cylinder or slave cylinder.

Good morning I have a 1985 honda 1200 interstate my problem is when taking off in 1st gear my clutch is all the way out to the end which means take off is fast cannot take off slow needs lots of gas to...

Hello, do not touch the carburettors they are fine, i am not familiar with the set up on the Honda but from your description its the clutches, i presume it has hydraulic clutch set up since you mention bleeding it, if you have a nice solid feel on the clutch lever than it should be ok but it will not do any harm to give it a quick bleed, hydraulic clutch set ups usually do not have any adjustments but if you can give the lever some free play (only if its adjustable) than it will get you out of trouble, you will need your clutches replaced if you cannot adjust it and there is no air in the system.

It is hard to shift gears sometime, especially trying to put it in neutral. How do I adjust my clutch?

If I am correct the warrior models have hydraulic clutches and as such aren't really adjustable. You will usually get a lever adjustment at the handlebars, although this is more to adjust the lever to your finger length. If you wind this adjuster so the lever is as far out as possible you will get more clutch travel which may help you.

It does sound like your clutch is dragging to me, it would explain your symptoms. This can be caused by 3 things:

1. Not enough separation of clutch plates. On a hydraulic system this should not happen unless you have air in the system. Bleed your clutch and see if it improves. You should feel a difference at the lever after bleeding if air was the problem.

2. Warped plates. These will mean that the plates will drag even with full stroke on the clutch as the plates become "thicker" as far as clutch operation goes. You can pull them out and check them on something very flat, a piece of glass is best. See if you can see gaps anywhere around the plates. Replace them all if you do.

3. Engine oil causing extra drag. If the wrong kind of oil is used it can imact the operation of wet clutches that you find in motorbikes. If this problem occurred since your last oil change then it could be the culprit. Change the oil and also remove the clutch plates and clean them of the old oil. Then soak them in the new oil before reinstalling.

If you don't abuse your clutch then it's most likely either number 1 or number 3. If you do abuse your clutch a bit then number 2 can't be ruled out. Start by bleeding it since this is the cheapest and easiest to do, and the most likely cause in my experience. Also bear in mind that you may have all 3 of these problems, although it's not likely, especially on a fairly new bike.

1st, 2nd, 3rd gears difficult to select and reverse grinds in

You are in the wrong section of FixYa, but I can help you.
The reason why you are having trouble changing gears is your clutch is not disengaging properly from the engine when you press the clutch peddle.
If the clutch is a cable type control, then the clutch cable and clutch lever may need adjusting to disengage the gearbox from the engine so you can change gears without crunching the gears.
If the clutch is hydraulic type, you could have air in the system or you have leaky hydraulic seals, both of which will prevent the clutch from disengaging from the engine properly. Check the clutch master cylinder and the clutch slave cylinder for leaks. If there are leaks you need to replace the seals and if the master and slave cylinders are badly scored then they need to be replaced as well.
If there are no hydraulic leaks then bleed the hydraulic line to remove the air in the hydraulic system, you may also need to adjust the push rod from the slave cylinder to adjust the clutch lever arm so when the clutch peddle is depressed the clutch fully disengages the engine.

Have to change clutch plate on suzuki grand vitara ,its hard to put in gears

If it's hard to get into gear you should check the clutch is disengaging properly.
Before changing the clutch plate, check that the clutch throw-out is adjusted correctly and the actuating hydraulics/levers have the correct amount of travel.
