I have a 1999 jeep grand cherokee laredo 4.0 inline 6 and i filled it up but now the gas gauge is reading way over full. And i been drivin it and it hasent moved. What could be making it do that?

Fuel gauges normally work off a float inside the tank, it may be that the float got jammed when the tank was over filled, as you drive it may free its self with the normal vibration of travel. Keep an eye on the distance you have gone and refill tank before you run out, but do not fill to top of tank this time.

Front fork lock?

Most bikes have a steering lock so turn your bars to full lock. So pull the left hand bar to the full lock position which is towards the tank, then turn you ignition key further past the off position and that should engage the steering lock. Failing that use pad locks through the holes on your disk brakes( don't forget them before you ride off) or get a chain and run it through your back wheel then through a part of your frame then around a pole or fixed place where the bike is parked and that should work

hi.
you are almost certainly low on fuel in the main tank.
the tank only holds a few gallons from completely empty. reserve fuel is a gallon or so, which means that the main tank hold somewhere just under 4 gallons if i remember correctly. my sister had a 1989 virago about 14 years ago, and hers would do about 110miles before she had to fill up again if she was driving around town. look for the fuel tap at the bottom of the tank, and if this happens again, turn the tap on to the reserve setting. it will give you about 30 miles range before running out completely. this is just one of those bikes where you have to fill up quite often due to a small tank. hope this helps

Your throttle cable is likely to be rusted. It can be saved with a liberal spray of WD-40 into the cable shroud and left to run down the cable inner. You have to remove this cable and hang up from one end.
Fuel residue is likely to interfere with the smooth operation of the carburettors. Remove the fuel line from tank, and remove drain plugs from carby's. Spray continously some Carburetor Cleaner (avail. all auto accessory stores) down the fuel hose till it comes out the base of carby's. Allow to evaporate and repeat. A full tank cleaning fluid is also available from most auto shops. Thoroughly check all rubber components, wheels and brakes before getting back on the road. Cheers

Fuel filtrer. i'm trying to find where it is located on 1991

Fuel travels from the gas tank in the rear via the pump located in the tank. The fuel line travels under the driver's side of the car up into the engine bay, then enters the fuel filter, which is located on top of the driver's front fender in the engine bay. It's about the size of the bottom of a beer can and then the fuel heads on into the injection system on the engine.
