Question about 1998 Honda VT 1100 C3 Shadow Aero
Best way is to remove the seat and open the battery compartment then use a MOTORCYCLE charger (usually 1 amp or so) clamp the black cable to either an exposed engine mount or to the black wire on the battery clearly marked with a negative (-) then clamp the red to the positive terminal(+) then turn on your charger - if this is for long term storage a special trickle charger or smart charger for a lawn mower or motorcycle is best - never use a car charger they charge too fast and will create a heat buildup that will kill your battery prematurely.
