Question about 2006 kawasaki ZZR 600
I have a 2006 Kawasaki ZZR600. The other day I dropped it and snapped off the turn signal. It still looks like it's in one piece; I think all I need to do is fit it back in the cowling and plug it back in. Is there a special procedure for replacing it (i.e. do I have to take the cowling off in any particular sequence)? Any potential problems to look out for? Thanks in advance.
The turn signal is held to the fairing by a stud with a nut on the end under the fairing, so may need to partially pull the fairing off to access the turn signal stalk retaining nut and wire connector, u may be able to get to the nut from behind the fairing as well, take a flashlight and look inside to see the nut. .This is a straight forward job, no specail skill level, my worry is you damaged the area that the turn sigal attached to.
go to this link/page to see the turn signal diagram.
