Possible reasons are:
The battery has reached the end of its useful life. Replace with a new one.
There's a current draw from something added as an accessory (that's not shutting off when the key is switched off).
Your bike has a faulty rectifier. The rectifier is a part of the charging system that converts the AC output of the generator into DC current for charging the battery. Have the rectifier tested and replace if bad.

There is a 99.99% chance the voltage regulator is bad and that is draining the battery. I'm not sure what else you are looking for, if you want to know how to replace it, etc.

If you do want to know how to replace it, I can tell you how but it would be far easier for you if you were to just take it to a shop.

If you are waiting days and this unit is sitting you have to take in to account that batteries do degrade over time. Also if this unit is say in a car and you are in cold temperature climate right now, then the battery will loose charge quicker when idle.

How old is the unit? if the unit is a few years old, the degradation of the battery to this point is totally normal.

After sitting for three days, my '96 Honda will not start. I get clicking noises but no starting. What can this be?

I would assume your battery cables are loose or the battery has drained itself somehow. Try cleaning your cables and tightening them. You made need to boost it or put a charger on it for a while. If you need to recharge the battery, either you have a poor battery that is no longer holding a charge, or something is draining it while it sits. Could be a trunk light, or glovebox light, or many other things.

When my 2000 Odyssey sits for 1 day, its slow to start next day

Make sure your battery posts and clamps are cleaned with a post cleaner.  Use a dielectric grease over and between the clamps.   If these connections are dirty your battery will not charge while you are driving.    I always replace the voltage regulator when replacing the battery.    If the regulator is broken your battery will not charge (many voltage regulators are inside the alternator these days).   The voltage regulator may not be working.  You can repair it with new brushes and by cleaning the commutator if the alternator can come apart (there are rebuild kits available)   If the alternator is riveted it is disposable.  The last thing to check is the belt that drives the alternator.  If it slips because of being loose then you will have insufficient charge.

Have a 2004 Rodeo 3.5 Has 150+ miles intermittent start/stop/died

Sound like an alternator problem or loose connection on the charging system....theyre is a simple test you can do.....charge up the battery, start engine...mesure with an voltmeter betwen the baterie post it should read 13 -14 volt if not check for loose or coroded main wire and connector, blown charging system fuse....if you dont see anything then the alternator is most likely the cause

1988 Oldsmobile Delta 88 (Vin "C") won't start, won't turn over

the 12 amp is for a jump start and the 2 amp is for a trickle charge which doesn't degrade the battery. i believe you have a loose connection either a loose ground cable or the positive cable to the starter check these and tighten if neccessary
