I can not log in to facebook. I have tried for days and nothing. What is wrong? I get a message over and over ''This program cannot display the web page.''

Do you get any message when you try to log in? I suggest you try to log in from a different computer, to determine wether it is something wrong with your computer, or if it is something with your facebook account.

Facebook disables some 20,000 accounts per day, and it may not even been your fault.

General Instructions for Facebook Login Problems follow:

Clear you cache and enable cookies then get out of your browser and restart it again.

Sometimes when too many people access it, or it sees too many tries to log in ,

According to article 14 in the Terms of service, Facebook can and has the right to terminate your account at any time.

when i try to log in, the same message appears the last 6 days.
i cant log in, and i have no help from facebook team.

That also appears when i want to check a certain individual's wall. That happens only to two individuals.

Don't puzzle yourself about it..I've had similar problems with sites also. It's FB's site problem. Just try logging in on and off ( during periods that u normally r not on during the day/night) ...it will eventually work

When attempting to log-in on Facebook, I am being greeted with a "Network Timeout - The server at login.facebook.com is taking too long to respond." error message.

The best solution I can offer is to try logging in to Facebook again in a day or two. It is most likely a Facebook issue, NOT a user issue. The Facebook staff may be doing maintenance, there may be some kind of outage, or the server could simply be overloaded at the moment. In any of these cases, there is nothing a Facebook user can do but sit patiently and try again in a day or two.

Does this happen when you try to log onto any other site? For example, does this happen if you try to log into email or an account on any other site? If this is happening in different situations, you may have an issue with your browser and need to go into Options to make some changes. However, if it's only happening on Facebook then something else is probably going on.

Do you have the page bookmarked? If so, try going to the Web site by typing it into your browser instead of using your bookmarked link.

Also, make certain that you are going to the correct web site address for facebook. Sometimes people set up fake pages that look exactly like the log in page. You enter your log in info and either nothing happens or you get an error saying that the page can't be displayed. What the user doesn't know is that this is a fake page and after you enter your information, it is sent to an FTP site or an email address and now a hacker has your info to log into your account.
