Most of them just slip down over the top of the spark plug with rubber gommet inside to grip the spark plug.

Most do just slip over the plug and are held by a rubber grommet. Some not alot hav a small allen screw that holds them in place. Usually on the back side where its a ***** to get to. If you do not see an allen hole then just use a flat blade and pop them off.

I need instructions on how to change the belt on my Hoover Model U4264-930 vaccum.

Tool Needed, flat head screwdriver (larger one works a little better). Serious Safety Precaution: Make sure unit is unplugged. Preliminary: Check: that nothing is caught like threads etc, preventing roller brush from turning. I've had this model vacuum 10 years and have pulled threads out countless times. However it still has the original belt on it. To change belt: 1.) There is a plastic plate underneath roller, towards front.. Pry the 3 tabs at front, the plate hinges downward slightly (to clear the front tabs). Next, there are 2 little clips at bottom of plate. Insert screw driver at each of these clips to fully release the plate the rest of the way. (Or it may even come off without having to pry back on these. The plastic clips need pushed towards front, to clear the ridge that catches towards the back). Pry one, then the other, clip forward, while gently pulling the plate the rest of the way out. (Gentle prying will assure it will snap back together OK, so you still get a good seal.) You now should see the whole roller brush. 2.) Remove the shell/motor cover: To do this, a.) pull off the rug height adjuster lever, and take not where you put it so you won't loose it. b.) push foot release down and keep vacuum bag in the vacuuming/hinged/operating position (not the upright/locked position), and position cleaner on it's side, or upside down. c. Pry around the bottom edge, starting at right corner, then go around, prying in about 4 different places. Shell/motor cover will now easily pull off (upward and out towards front), exposing motor shaft and light bulb. 3.) remove belt from motor shaft. 4. slide roller and old belt out the bottom. 5.) remove old and place new belt on roller 6.) slide roller back into place. 7.) wrap other end of belt on motor shaft. 8.) shell cover, rug height adjuster knob, and bottom plate snap back into place. check that roller turns without much effort. 9.) It now should be ready to plug in and vacuum.

Where are the spark plugs located at

I found this solution and will not take credit for it, I had the same problem. To change the spark plugs on a 2000 Kia Sephia, at least in a 1.8L version, first disconnect the battery, then, remove the black plastic cover on top of the motor. There should be 6 Phillips-head screws holding it down. After removing the plastic cover, you will see two rubber covers for the spark plug wires on each side, and two gel-looking insuated tubs attatched to more wires in the middle. To remove two of the spark plugs, you must carefully pull the rubber covers upward. They clip onto the spark plugs so you will need to use careful force to pull them out. Once you have them pulled out, you can look in and see the plug. It requires a 5/8 spark plug socket with an adapter to reach in. Make sure you push the socket on hard enough so that it clips onto the spark plug, other wise it will fall over and you wont be able to get it out without a LOT more work. Finish that plug by plugging the rubber covered spark plug wire back onto the spark plug, covering the hole. You can do the same thing for the plug on the opposite side. For the two in the middle, you need to first unbolt and remove the insulated boxes that cover the spark plug holes (you can unplug the white connectors but make sure you plug them back in when you are done). Then all you have to do is do the same thing you did with the two outer ones to replace the plugs. Perform this one plug at a time, and make sure you cover the holes with a cloth or paper towel if you leave them open for any period of time. When you finish, make sure all the wires are connected, then reconnect the battery.

Change spark plug

Your tool kit has a thin wall spark plug wrench with a grabber to change the plug. If you don't have a tool kit you can buy just the plug wrench at your local Honda dealer. The spark plugs are on top of the head . You may have to remove chrome carburetor covers or your lowers to gain access . Then pull plug caps, check to make sure there is no mud or collected dirt, if so clean out before proceeding. After you blow out junk (if there is any) take a piece of wire and make sure the drain holes are clear. Now remove the old spark plugs and replace with four new NGK DPR8EA-9 gapped to .035 in.

HOW DO I REMOVE THE CHROME MOULDINGS OFF A AUSTIN A30 SAFELY

these should be held in place by metal clips. they make a tool that kind of looks like a 2 prong fork. cover the paint with a rag and gently pry up in certain locations looking under each with a flashlight to verify and pry up until they come loose. chances are you have to repurchase the clips. maybe. cheers

Remove door panel on a Ford Van

For a 1999 Ford Econoline 150 (assume the same or very similar), remove triangular plastic cover over mirror assembly by prying straight out, remove plastic door handle cover by prying up from the front side, remove electronic door switches by prying up from back side, remove round plastic cover at bottom rear of door panel. Four screws are now revealed, remove them. Lift door panel straight up, clips are hooks (not snap in). Work door switch assembly out of door panel. Set door panel aside. Reassemble in reverse order.

How to remove interior door panel on a 1997 caravan with ower windowq

Start by removing the negative battery cable from the battery. Then locate and remove the screws that hold the interior door handles in place (they may be hidden by snap in, or snap on covers). Once you have removed the interior door handles, disconnect the wire clips that go to your window and door lock controls.
I personally use a small pry bar to remove the interior door panel; it is held in by plastic snap clips. Try to get as close to, or directly under the snap clips as possible with your pry bar to prevent them from tearing out of the door panel. Once you have released the snap clips, pull the panel upward to remove it. Install in reverse.

I hope this information helps you, and I wish you luck on your repair.

Remove back panel

You have to remove the base at the bottom (4 screws), all the screws on the back, then use a thin flat-head screwdriver or other thin brybar and work around the back panel unlatching the snaps that are in place.

After the back cover is off, the metal cover over the board and power supply can be removed by removing the screws around the outside lip of the cover, along with the screws on the bottom and right hand lip of the raised area in the back.

Hope this helps.
