01 aurora sitting in my car 5min nd everything worked, tried to turn on engine it went click and everything died like dead batt.tried to jump, nothing, charged 24hours,nothing,charger says batt is full.

Check for bad connections art the battery. If they are good, get a volt meter and start testing the connections going back to the under hood fuse box. If everything is dead, you must have a blown fusible link or a bad connection somewhere between the battery and the fuse block.

I have a 2002 suzuki tl 1000s how do I remove and replace the starter?

tarter motor or starter clutch, if motor a doddle mate, 2 x 8/ 10mm bolts if I remember, disconnect the cable from the rear, and the live of the battery!! undo the 10 mm bolts and simply withdraw it, these can be stripped and cleaned quite easy, just make sure the cases are all scribed for reassembly other wise the motor can spin the wrong way. good luck

Wont start with key

Do you have a bad starter? also check for loose or dirty battery cables on both ends of cables as the starter does take a lot of pull and a dirty or loose cable won't give it the power to start but will let the lights work.

Full Power Loss

I would take a different but not real easy approach---I would reverse the process and remove the new stereo unit and have all wires connected if possible back to the original radio---you may have a ground wire hooked to wrong place etc.

If this happened as a result of replacing the radio back track to see what you have--in over 30 years of repairing electronic equipment whenever a new issue appears instantly after doing something---back up and undo what you did.

Just a suggestion.

Check charging system light came on, panel icons started blinking on and off and the battery soon after died.

First check your battery posts and cables to make sure that they're not corroded. Next, if you can get it to turn on, soon after unplug the negative battery cable briefly while the car is on, if it dies then your alternator went out, if it doesn't reconnect right away as we don't want to put any undo stress on the alternator. next thing to do is to take out the battery and go have it tested.

Disconnecting the wires from a starter on a toyota paseo 1993

The one big wire is the battery cable and is covered with a plastic cover that can be pryed off, Under the cover is a 12 MM nut and just undo it and it's lockwasher. the small wire is in a rectanglewlar plastic in the middle of whick you can push in on the plug inside of it to release the wire while pulling on it and it'll come unplugged. Try putting these wires out of the way while moveing the starter as their easy to damage and of course disconnect the battery before working on the big wire as it's hot all the time with the battery connected.

sounds like alternator is on its last legs, start your car, then undo battery to see if it dies,if it doesnt, try turning your headlights on.when undoing battery be careful not to ground out your positive terminal when undoing the battery
