Electric starter prolem

I have a baotian rocky, and it has 1500 km.
my footkick is broken, and i cant start my scooter with the electric starter..it just doesn't do nothing when i push it..:S what is the possible problem ?

On your post "...what is the possible problem...", initially, determine if there is at least a clicking sound when the start button is pressed:

  • if yes, then possibly the contacts of the starter relay are corroded, burned or simply not touching each other. To confirm, short the 2 terminals to directly power the starter motor;
  • if no clicking sound, then possibly safety interlocks are preventing starting. In some versions, it would be the brake lever switch, in some side stand switch;
  • weak battery, externally charge and have it load tested.
  • loose, corroded terminals and connectors; clean and tighten.

Postback results of initial checks.

Not totally sure but it looks like its supposed to be attached to and anchor, its a small silver ball deep inside the guts of the scooter

wont start as in run or turn over with electric starter? Not familiar with that model but all are similar. May be a fuse in the starter button circuit, key switch connection, may be bad connection at starter button or bad relay. check button for continuity check connections following wires down handlebars to their destination
