I have the serial number of my yamaha outboard engine (F150) and i want to know the year of manufacture. the s.n. is 1088064

I think the model number can help you more for finding the year of manufacture. I couldn't find anything on the serial number. Also, if you contact a Yamaha outboard dealer, they can help you.

I have a 2001 Yamaha ttr 125cc dirt bike and has been wrecked and couple of the digits of the VIN are scraped up and can't make it out real good because I ran the numbers I thought I was and I only can...

the only other possible way is to get the engine serial number and the manufacturer site and contact the engineering section to see if there is a BOM ( bill of material) list to find what bike VIN number that engine serial number was installed in

Year identification of yamaha yz250 engine number 1lu oo3560

The engine number will not give you what you need. The VIN is the key. You will find the VIN number stamped into the center steering stem that the forks attach to. Call a Yamaha dealer with the VIN and they can tell you what year and model of bike you have.

A “very helpful” rating for this answer? Thanks!

Looking to find age of yamaha bike using serial number

Get the vin number off the front downtube that the steering triple tree mounts to. Call a Yamaha dealer with the vin # and they can tell the year, engine size and model of bike.
