Question about 2005 Yamaha FJR 1300
Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Initially, determine if there is fuel and spark at the combustion chamber. Remove any of the sparkplugs and note if it is wet with fuel. Thereafter, it could be connected back to its wire and laid against any metal part and the engine cranked. Presence or absence of spark could then be tested.
Absence of fuel would then require checks on the fuel pump, fuel inject relay, associated wiring and safety interlocks.
Absence of spark would require checks of the IGN +12 to the coils (red/black) and the trigger to each coil from the ECU (gray/red & orange).
Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.
