Petcock repair

The vacuum line is there to help the fuel flow to the Carb/injectors.So you need the same type as you are taking off.

I have a vacum line off and a plug missing need to see diogram on CARB AND VACUMS LINES BECUASE NOT GET GAS TO CRAB

If you're not getting fuel to the carb, then the vacuum line you're talking about comes from the backside of your carb and feeds vacuum to both the VOES switch and the vacuum operated petcock. The VOES is either up in the tunnel of the fuel tank or on the choke cable bracket. The nipple for the vacuum line on the petcock is on the backside of the petcock. The nipple for the vacuum line at the carb or intake should be visible is you look at the backside of the carb from the left side of the bike.

Good Luck

My 87 chevy custom runs but stalls once i try driving, what could it be?

I would suspect a vacum leak or bad fuel pump. take a can of carborator cleaner and spray around vacum hoses, if engine revs up or dies out you just found a vacum leak

I need to know where all the hook ups go coming from the shut off valve of the gas tank on my 1985 yamaha maxim x 700

There are two lines coming out of the fuel petcock (shut-off valve). The small diameter one is a vacum line that connects to the top of the rubber intake located between the carb and the engine head. you should notice that all four intakes have a vacum port in this location and they should all be capped excet one - usually #2.

The second line of the fuel petcock is the larger diameter one, and is the fuel line. Make sure you install an in-line filter if it has been lost. The fuel line connects to the carb on a pipe that feeds all four carbs. The pipe is located on the lower portion of the carb, down by the float bowls. There will be a connection port between #2 and #3 (right in the middle of the carb assembly). It will be difficult to see when everything is assembled and even more dificult to reach.

1985 Yamaha xj700 Maxim- Carb. fuel lines

yes, the breather line hooks to the petcock on the line facing the back, the fuel line hooks to the larger one. the line from the breather is actually a vacume line that turns on the fuel, without it you will not get fuel out of the petcock unless it is in the prime position.
