My Intruder isn't starting. All lights etc come on when the key is turned, but nothing when I hit the starter switch. Something I noticed is that it's not making that little sound when the key is turned though. Have checked fuses etc... any ideas of easy things to check before I take it to mechanic?
I had same problem ! i figured out the safety switch on the cluch was not working so i oiled it up litel bit and works fine after that so far anyway :)
You are in neutral, clutch pulled in, kick stand up when you push the button?
Check the voltage on the starter side of the solenoid when you press the start button. Your solenoid may need service or replacement. You may also be able to jump over the solenoid with a heavy cable brom the battery to see if the starter will run.
Try either, MAKE @#$%@ SURE you are in N and the clutch is pulled in before you try this stunt.
