Wait till its dark outside. With no lighting, start your car and look at the engine. Let you eyes adjust and you should see some small sparks flashing. Usually they are from old worn spark plug wires.

Try checking interior lights,boot/bonnet lamps radio it seem's like something is draining battery supply only a small draw will nacker the battery.

I would try to replace your spark plugs, and spark plug wires, My 88 Vic did the same thing...now it runs like a champ....you could also try fuel injector cleaner.
