I just had gaskets from the base up on my 1991 883 sporster .it runs fine above idle but when it is at 950 to a 1000 rpm it won't run.they don't know what it is and when i checked it seems like the front cyclinder is firing very weak at idle. but fine when giving it gas.

Try spraying a little starting fluid on the intake manifold when the bioke is fully warmed up. be sure not to spray the starting fluid in the back of the air box. if the rpms change when you do this then you have an intake leak.

2006 300C 5.7 stalls when rpm falls below 700 rpm if I keep foot on gas and rpm obove 800 rpm car does not stall,sometimes driving the tach drops to 0 the car jerks stalls for a second and takes off

replace the idle control sensor to get an idle speed above 800
run the fault codes as there may be more wrong that need fixing

I have a 95 mustang v6 that I got as a project. It had blown was gasket and ran rough at idle with lack of power. I redid heads and gaskets etc it runs great and has good power but still idles rough at...

Idling is too slow at 500 rpm.......think about at least 650 rpm to charge the battery and keep up inertia for better take-off power.
Find out how to increase rpm,whether it's a screw-stop adjustment or a timing problem. don-ohio (:^)

I think that there is still a piece of trash in the idle circuit. Did you remove the adjusting screw when you cleaned it?

The vaccuum line might have come off or may have broke.

Engine vibration at idle, goes away after a little acceleration, mostly when the engine is still cold..

Check the rpm gauge while running. If the RPM needle fluxuates while idling that is caused by a defective spark plug and or a spark plug wire

Won't start, engine wont rev above 2000rpm

Have the alternator tested. You are providing a low charge to the battery when you jump it and when taking it above 2K RPM requires more amperage resulting in the engine dying and the rough idle
