Relacing steering lock

How do you replace the steering lock on a 2004 VZ800 Marauder? I still have the pin and cover, but am missing the lock.

Some steering lock barrels have a spring loaded pin which goes into a drilling to secure..to remove well a bit of dismantling of the innerds with what ever you have to hand,punch,small chissel slow and steddy as to not damage housing

2002 Suzuki Marauder VZ800 Front cylinder does not fire till bike warms up a bit?
Definately try a spark plug first. What does the old spark plug look like? ( white, oil fouled, melted, metallic?). Usually a fuel issue will make the inoperable cylinder very hot. Might have a loose valve guide in the head, or a bent valve.
