i put a new shifter on my honda 125cc motorcross and no it will not shift gears. the shifter moves up and down but does not feel like it is shifting gears. what could be happening?
Did your bike shift gears prior to installing the new shift lever? Why did you replace the lever? If the bike was dropped and the shift lever damaged, the shifting mechanism inside the engine may have been damaged as well. This mechanism will probably be on the primary drive side of the engine and you'll probably have to pull the clutch drum to get to it.

hi, merry xmas, i'm hoping you may enlighten me; i'm haveing issues with a ski and am not all that well informed. it will start and idle eventually, but when the throttle is squeezed, gently or quickly, it cuts out, on the odd occasion that i am able to get it running and launched it will only go 30-50 yards and then feels as though it has ran out of gas, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. regards, Nathan.

Bought a 2002 Rm125 about 2 months ago, with a fresh top end....First ride was great with impressive power throughout. About two weeks later I noticed that it was missing some about half throttle , and just thought that the plug might be fowling a little or possible dirt in the carb...Started off next ride with new plug and fresh gas, but this time it started once but then wouldn't restart. Changed plug , gas, also checked plug for spark, but bike doesn't even attempt to start. Last night I tried using starter fluid straight into the carb, but even that didn't do anything ...I thought for sure that the starter fluid would get it to start, but it would just kick over a few times and backfire..Any ideas?
