premium gas with some octane booster for a couple of tanks should do the trick because even though you cleaned the carbs there still is gunk and **** in the lines..i also suggest fogging the bike with seafoam good luck i hope this helps
i had the same same problem with my 1992 vulcan 750. more than likely it is your reserve lighting devive located on the right side battery box. have you had a problem with your regulator/rectifier lately or a power surge of some type?
