There is probably a Suzuki forum on the internet. Common problems usually get posted on the forums, and solutions (if any) are discussed.

Another possibility would be to google "speedometer repairs" and see if any of the repair places have a fix for the Suzuki problem.

Where is fuse box for petrol guage

i dont think there is a seperate fuse for the fuel gauge the only fuses are for the instrument pack if one of these fails other instrument pack functions would be affected also, the usual cause of fuel gauge problems is the sender unit in the fuel tank it is located behind the trim panel forward edge of boot, or a wiring fault,

My speedometer, temperature guage and fuel guage stopped working on my isuzu npr

I had the same problem a few days ago. I lost my instruments cluster but I got it back. What you need to do is take the gloves compartment out, to the left you will see 3 fuse 15,10, 15. One of the 15 fuse was gone and that was the problem. Put a new one and is working. Hopefully this information helps everyone with same problem.

GAS GAGE WANT STOP READING EMPTY WHEN GAS IS IN IT

To confirm if the fault is with the Rheostat float within the fuel tank or the fuel guage in the dashbboard, you can remove the wiring to the fuel tank float. If the guage reading changes- to full- then the guage is good and the fault can be a jammed rheostat which can be removed from the tank and replaced after draining the tank. The guage can be tested on the outside with a ground wiring to the plate of the fittings and as the float is moved the guage must show a change in reading. if not the voltage must be measured to confirm the working of the guage.

My gas gauge is always reading full why 1999 cavalier

Hi

The most likely cause is that the fuel sender in the tank is faulty or that the wiring to the sender is bad.

Less common causes are a faulty fuel guage or circuit in the instrument panel.

Test the sender as it is the most likely cause and easiest to eliminate.

First inspect all connections that are readily visible to insure that they are secure & free from dirt or corrosion.

Disconnect the fuel tank sender wire at the tank. The guage should continue to show full (ignition on). Ground the wire from the sending unit at the fuel tank to any good grounding point on the car. The gauge should go to "Empty". If it does this is a strong indicator that the sending unit is at fault.

Hope this helps. Please do rate my answer. Thanks
