HI MY 2000 BMW GS 1150 MAKES A KNOCKING NOISE WHEN I HOLD THE CLUTCH IN ( WHEN SHES WARM )BUT WHEN I RELEASE THE CLUTCH IT SEEM'S TO STOP, HAS ANYONE ANY IDEA WHY? AND IF IT IS THE CLUTCH, IS THERE ANY WHERE I CAN PURCHASE THE PARTS? .
SHES FREE FROM OIL LEEKS THE GEAR OIL IS AT THE RIGHT LEVEL AND SHE HAS BEEN WELL SERVICED AND LOOKED AFTER OVER THE YEARS.
THERES 41500 MILES ON THE CLOCK.

- HI, DOSEN'T THE CLUTCH ON THE BMW RUN ON THE SAME SET UP AS A CAR? PRESSURE PLATE, PUSH ROD, ETC? NOT LKE A NORMAL BIKE CLUTCH SET UP? KIND REGUARDS MARTY

it may be the clutch basket has groves making the plates tap back and forth in basket itself and ebay will have it buy it new

- I dont have a book for your bike never have seen the inside of one but i have seen the inside of bmw car and if it is the same as a car it would be the throw out bearing and or the springs on the clucth plate itself i will do some researh tomorrow and get back to u
