Working with these types of tiures on a daily basis ive seen inexpereineced lads break the sensor mounted at the valve stem (inside the tire of course) if your display tells you which tire is low i would have it removed and inspect the sensor. that is if oyur pressures are set corectly, also there is sometimers a reset button and just plain driving around will someitmes clear it to normal.

My 2008 Suzuki SX4 tire pressure indicator light has been on for weeks. I have checked the tire pressure on all tires and everything seems ok. Can anyone tell me why this light is still on?

You will need the dealer to scan the system for the problem that giving you a false indication of low pressure. Also make sure the spare has the correct pressure.

How do I reset the tire pressure system manually??

If you are referring to the TPMS light (warning light), there isn't one. The procedure requires the use of a system (computer) called the GDS (Global Diagnostic System). Only the Hyundai Dealerships have this system (proprietary). If you are referring to a 'Low Tire Pressure" warning light, simply raise the pressure in each tire to the manufacturer's recommended minimum pressure (psi - between 30 & 35 psi). The low tire pressure light will turn off after 5 minutes of driving.

At around 63,000 miles, on my way to work, I suddenly had the TPMS light come on- not the low are pressure symbol- then it went off, then it cam eon for just a few seconds, then went off. What is that...

When your tires are cold there is less psi in them. only after you drive does the air in your tires heat up and increase in psi. check your tires for 35 psi before you drive around in car. TPMS-Tire Pressure Monotoring System

The tire pressure light came on this morning. Brought to a garage and they checked tire..not flat...just needs air. It is inflated and all other tires checked. The light still stays on. Is there a way to...

the sensor in the tire may be faulty. If you have taken it and checked the air pressure in the tires already and it stays on then you probably have a faulty sensor. try airing the tire up a little more and see if it goes out. If not you may need to go to the dealer. They should be able to connect to the computer and verify the faulty sensor. Did you air up all the tires? Some systems will only tell you a tire is low and not which tire it is so air them all up too!

Unknown warning light

I suspect this is a low tire indicator, mine drove me nuts when I didn't know what it was till a buddy of mine told me. (my tires did not even look low to me). I would be willing to bet that the company that did your oil change was nice enough to put some air in your tires. Doing so, your light went off for a bit, but the slow leak is now getting low again and you will need to get it patched/plugged/repaired or filled with air again to get the indicator to go back out.
