DID ya get it running again ? If not the problem is the wiring under the gas tank there is a crimp connector there and its bare metal . ITS a poor *** wiring job to not insulate the thing. Its shorting out the main hidden fuse. The 2000 Nomad was atest for FI and the wiring is **** poor. I outta know ! HELL I'll never buy a *** again !

Check main fuse.You may have hit a large bump and dislodged an already loose fuse.Find source of problem.Reg/rec,short to ground , loose earth wire or just a loose main fuse. replace.Hope this helps bobnshazza.Please leave feed back if it has.....Tabby.

Pull yourbattery and cheak the level of the acid. if low put in some water till full chargeit and put it back in and report back then.

Almost sounds like a Alternator issue or even a bad battery might want to have them checked. If your alternator is going out the battery may not have enough juice to keep the fuel pump going this is the reason it will shut off. If your battery is bad then it will not hold the charge.

Check your battery connections. The symptoms you describe are common to loose battery terminal connections.

my geo storm shut down on me while driving and it wouldnt start again and i had it towed home to find out that the timing belt snapped!! And another time it shut down was my alternator went out and it ran my battery dead!! Hope this helps you,good luck!!

Have you checked the main circuit breaker yet? You should be able to access it from the right hand side of the bike, on the rear fender between the fender and oil tank. Make sure you have power to both sides of the breaker. The breaker is a 30 amp, and can also be located by following the charge wire from the voltage regulator which hooks to one of the posts on the breaker.

Electrical. wont re-start unless cold.

You probably have some corrosion on your battery terminals. Make sure they are clean and connected good and tight.

TOTAL SHUT DOWN

This has to be a blown fuse. If it happened slowley you lost your altenator or battery connection.
