    KNOWING HOW TO WORK ON YOUR OWN MACHINES IS A REAL BONUS, HAS SAVED ME $1000'S, DID MY FIRST ENGINE AT AGE 16, DIDN'T KNOW SQUAT, BUT WADED IN. EVERYONE WANTS A CLEAN JOB THESE DAYS, THAT IS WHY A GOOD UNION AUTO TECH WORKING FOR A LARGE DEALER MAKES UP TO $100,000 A YEAR

How do i stall a stator on a suzuki 2001 tl 1000r

without the specialty tools for the job. you'll never get it apart with out damaging something..so take some good advice and have a trained tech fix it for you..cause after you spend the money and time tracking down all tools needed its probably going to cost you more. Are you sure the stators bad? Has it been tested? Have you tested your loom for shorts? Have you ruled out every other possibility? just asking good luck. I would check the whole starting system before spending any money on unnecessary parts because most electrical parts are non returnable and quite costly..

I have a 2003 suzuki TL-1000R out of time

The only way to tell without taking it to a shop with expensive equipment would be to take the timing cover off, check the timing marks on the cams and make sure the crank is lined up at the same time. You have no control over the advance, it is all done by computer, I don't even know how your engine is set up, even though I almost bought one of those bikes, I was ignored at the dealer so I went across the street with my pocket full of cash to Athen's Ducati, I'm glad they ignored me. I found this;
