What's happening is your voltage regulator is going bad, so the lights change intensity with the rpms because as the generator spins more rapidly, more voltage is being generated, when the rpms drop at idle, it's because the generator is turning slower...replace the voltage regulator.

Lights dim when given gas wont start off battery and lights flicker at idol

You may have a charging issue. Its possible that you may have a bad alternator which is the device that keeps a flow of voltage to your battery and keeping your car function normal.

2004 pontiac grand am lights dim

Could be your alternator is getting too weak to keep up with demand of the car's electricals. Have your alternator tested, or have a shop check your charging system. Either one will test the alternator. Know anyone with a voltmeter and how to use it?

01 xj jeep revs up at idol

That is completely normal for your jeep product idol ranges it does this while warming up it should drop back to 800 when completely warm or when you put it in drive and everything is a go try using a better spark plug from AC DELCO lifetime warranty ones that'll keep some of the heat under control and abnormalities in your jeep product don't forget to change your timing belt at correct interval if not sure when that is call your local dealer and ask the service dept at how many miles should you bring in for timing belt change but of course you can change the belt your self with a little determination and knowledge. wutxtye0rjd9d9ekmodqt1eoxkvn9hr9qjz1l3dabggyud7sdgr36czsrfxqenadhnijx9nfayi+sz1sug0aaaaasuvork5cyii=

Engien revs and lights dim when i key up

You don't say how much power you  are running, but it must be quite a bit, or you have an amp you're not telling us about.  By keying up the radio, you're putting enough load on your electrical system to pull the voltage down which causes you lights to dim, rpms to drop, etc.  When you key off, everything goes back to "normal" which means no load so the engine will surge momentarily before it recovers.  Depending on how many watts you are running, you may also be affecting the alternator regulator.  Your alternator may also be a little weak.
