There may be a 'kill' switch, check it and see if its ok.
Get a 'live' wire to the pump (by pass) and thn try to start it..if it does thn theres a problem to the wire for the pump from the ignition switch, you may have to trace it out and rectify.
Hope this helps!

No power to fuel pump relay

There is an emergency fuel pump safety shutoff in case of an accident that will automatically shut fuel pump off so fuel does not keep pumping out at the scene of a crash. The reset button is usually in the trunk depending on what vehicle you have. Your manual will identify location for you.

Some Yamaha bikes have a "drop" switch, this is designed to cut the fuel when the bike is involved in an accident. (it cuts power to the fuel pump) there was a recall on some switches fitted to the YBR125 you may have the same problem.

Where is located the fuel pump relay on ford windstar 2002

.Here's a picture of it.1999-2003 Reset Button location
The switch is located inside the jack storage compartment found at the right rear corner of the vehicle. Remove the cover and it is behind the thin "foam" covering inside the compartment towards the rear of the vehicle.

It has a red button on the top of the switch, make sure the button is fully depressed. If it is and the vehicle still won't start check fuel pressure at the rail (there is a port on the rail which is under the hood on the engine) with a fuel pressure gauge. If the pressure is ok (about 30 psi) the problem is most likely not fuel system related.
The emergency fuel pump cutoff switch, also known as the inertia switch, cuts power to the fuel pump in the event of an accident - even a slow speed one - any sudden "jolt" can trigger the switch.

Whats the purpose of fuel shut off 94 mazda progete

The emergency fuel shut off switch is present to prevent gas fires in the event of an accident. It is an impact switch and disengages power to the pump after an accident. There has been situations where an accident caused fuel lines to break, the key was still supplying power to the pump, and a car fire resulted. This switch prevents such fires. Thanks and please rate.

The emergency fuel pump cut off switch reset is usually in the trunk but if you have the owner's manual you will find info in it. You can also call a dealer and ask where the reset is or try going to napaonline.com and do a search.

1cant figure out why i only get power to the fuel pump when i run a hard wire from the battery to the relay i have tested the relays and they are ok

Did you see if the inertia switch was triggered. The emergency fuel pump cutoff switch, also known as the inertia switch, cuts power to the fuel pump in the event of an accident - even a slow speed one - any sudden "jolt" can trigger the switch.

The switch is located inside the jack storage compartment found at the right rear of the vehicle. Remove the cover and it is behind the thin "foam" covering inside the compartment towards the rear of the vehicle.

Good luck and hope this helps.

2003 Cavalier, fuel problem after accident

there is no fuel pump cut off switch on this car, it is possible the fuel pump module was damaged from this accident, u will have to have the fuel pump circuit tested for faults before replacing the pump, don't guess, this is an expensive repair
