Question about 1997 Suzuki VZ 800 Marauder
Hi! Mc cranks but wont start. Have changed the stator, but still no start. No sparks from spark plugs nor from spark plug caps, but have over 12V in one connector to the coil (the one connected to the battery), and get around 9V from the other connector while cranking. Isnt this one (the one which show 9V while cranking) just going to get ground signal from the ignition control module? If so, can it be the ICM that is broken? Have a 97 mod Suzuki VZ800. Thanks in advance from Trond in Norway.
You have done good - This is a shot in the dark but if the bike thinks the bike is in gear with the kickstand doen (kickstand relay) the bike will not start - look for a voltage from the kickstand relay (at the kickstand)
