How do you remove flywheel from a chainsaw

Remove side cover, remove nut holding fly wheel on (normally right hand thread so you would turn ccw to loosen but some have a left hand thread.) now remove the flywheel with a bearing puller or have someone hold the flywheel with gloves while you strike the bolt in center of flywheel with a copper or brass hammer (be sure nut is on bolt to keep from disfiguring).

How do i remove the ststor from my ktm mxc 300

Disconect the stator wiring coming from the engine cover, drain oild if its a wet coil, remove engine cover, remove fly wheel (will need a puller or flywheel removal tool witch threads into the fly wheel inner thread and pops it off when you screw the bolt down the inner thread of the puller) remove the stator bolts and thats you.

Cant get fly wheel bolts off \r\n2001 eclipes

I'd spray spray down with a good penetrating oil, let set for 24 hours or so, then using a hammer hit the bolt on the head (carefull of the fly wheel) then you may want to actually try to ever-so slightly tighten the bolts then go back and try to remove.

I hope this may have assisted,

Are the threads on the nut for the crankshaft pulley left or right handed?

Hi they are normal nuts so will undo anticlockwise, but to undo this nut/bolt your going to need to lock the flywheel you can do this by either removing the starter motor and jamming a big screw driver in the teeth of the fly wheel so that it lock on the casing of the gearbox or you can undo an inspection panel on the gearbox to give you access to the fly wheel and then jam it that way other than doing this you would need air tools to undo this nut without jamming the fly wheel

I need to remove the fly wheel is it right or left hand thread? What is the best way to remove?

The fly wheel is right handed the clutch is left handed.
Please watch this it will help. It explains how to stop crankshaft rotation.

R² Drive Link Outboard Clutch
  1. A length of starter cord or nylon rope may be used instead of the piston stop (retain 6" ± so you can remove it). Make sure the piston is near the top of the cylinder before feeding the cord or it can fall through the exhaust port and damage the piston as it rises.

Delta 23-880 bench grinder

You should be able to hold the grinding wheel with a pair of leather gloves on your hands and lossen the bolt. Look very carefully at the threads to make sure you are trying to lossen and not tighten. Some are left handed threads on bench grinders.
