Question about 2008 kawasaki Ninja 250R

2008 ninja 250 won't start!

Hey guys I need help! I blew the ignition fuse on my 2008 ninja 250 when I switched the key on. No big deal, swap the fuse try again. After about a day it did it again. Ok coincidence, maybe but not likely. So I replace the fuse to get me home. This morning turn the key on to see what it does and it works. I hit the starter and it turns over once then stops, making a humming noise. Release button try again, now nothing. There was no grinding and the starter was turning strong so I'm thinking maybe the solenoid went bad? Thanks for the help guys!

Try testing the main fuse to see which side of the circuit is shorted. test for ohm, is it battery side or relay side. try removing the fuses from junction box and checking for a short there

    misread post sorry.

before buying a solenoid have battery tested. However, by starter turning once and stopping 99% sure its solenoid. IF fuse blows again you will need a volt meter to check the circuit.

Hey guys, my caravan started this morning then shut off and won't start again. Heres what I did so far checked fuel pump fuse good, fuel pump relay good swapped with other. Removed neg battery cab

If you have voltage at the fuse and relay, and at the pump, but no fuel pressure, I would say the pump has died or the tank is empty.
Have you checked for voltage at the pump yet ?

My bike wont start rite, before this happend i was riding just fine then it would just shut off all of a sudden, hit the start button would start sometime after a couple tries(while still coasting) then...

Check all your wire connections . A loose wire in the ignition system could be a simple fix. You could also be dealing with a dirty or intermittent contact in the kill switch or ignition switch. If you are careful some switches can be carefully disassembled , cleaned, and reassembled. This can be a fiddly time consuming fix, but it also is inexpensive. Tear the bike apart and check all the wire connections again.

Would the fairing parts of a 2006 kawasaki ninja 250 fit a 2005 kawasaki ninja 250?

Yes I do believe they do. Try going to Look in the shopping section on the left of the homepage. You will want to use the parts fische and load the info for your bike. It allows you to see what the dealer parts counter can see. See if this helps. I'm pretty sure the 250 ninja really didn't change until 2008 when it got the BIG overhaul

My 2008 Ninja 250 tires to start itself

The switch is the most likely source of the problem. Check it with a volt ohmmeter. Put the key in off and check the terminals. Next turn the key to the 1st position and check the terminals then on any further positions. The next time the bike self starts is when you want to re-check the switch terminals.

You know, this has all the signs of an internal short in the switch. Just tell the dealer to give you a new switch. Switch failure after 5 hours of riding is simply unacceptable.
