Question about 2004 kawasaki VN 1500 Vulcan Drifter
2005 Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan Drifter/4000 miles instant change from working perfect, when releasing the clutch in first gear from a dead stop the clutch doesn't engage until the lever is fully released and then it will jump and the engine will die unless high accelleration is used as in a 'racing' start. Then when driving 45 mph in 4th or 5th the transmission feels like it is slipping, the same as a cars automatic tans. when it slips. The resevoir is full and no leaks anywhere. The tab only went up to 2004 and i had to select it.
It could be a couple of things. First it may be the clutch slave, second the clutch itself sticking (worn or sticking springs).
