please make sure that temperature controls are set to the temperature that you want. Then, you'll want to double check that the power outlets that the freezer is plugged into still give out power by testing other appliances on them.
If the outlets don't work, then you would want to check the corresponding fuse in your fusebox because it might have switched off and just needs to be switched back.
You can order that one or pick any 10 watt appliance bulb from your local hardware store. They should just be frosted for added life and durance in the cold elements inside your refrigerator.
I found that when I used the crushed ice option, the lines would freeze
up. Cubes were ok. Take everything out, including the ice, and turn it
off for about 12
hours. Then check to see if it works again. If not, wait a little
longer to let it fully defrost. If it still does not work after 24
hours, then you might need service.
I am not aware of any special tools or proceedues require to replace a LED light bulb, however,...... LED bulbs are generally very long life bulbs (read est. 10 year life, minimum). There is at least one manufacturer which has had some issues with their LED bulbs, and it is possible that GE may have outsourced some manufacturing, so we can not rule out a bad LED, however, it is actually more likely that you have a problem with the board or a switch, in which case the service tech will have to find out why your LED is not lighting.
Use the correct wattage bulbs. If they fail often then you may need to get it checked by an electrician. Filament bulbs easily burn out. What you can do is to buy cheap bulbs and replace as soon as they burn. This is the problem which is why tube lights and LEDs were invented!
This water line does not run through the freezer. You have a switch in the door where you get water that activates the water valve in the back of the Ref.
One or both of these are bad and needs to be replaced.
HI I'M HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM THAT YOU ARE...I NOTICED THAT THE FRIDGE DOOR WAS OUT OF LINE WITH THE FREEZER DOOR AT THE TOP...IF THE FRIDGE WAS EMPTY IT WORKED FINE, BUT WHEN WE REFILLED IT,IT WOULD STOP COOLING AGAIN,I THINK IT'S GOT TO DO WITH THE WEIGHT ON THE DOOR MAKING THE DIFFERENCE IN MY CASE...I BELIEVE IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE SWITCH AT THE TOP, INSIDE THE FRIDGE THAT OPERATES THE LIGHT AND THE TEMP CONTROL IN MY CASE.TRY OPENING THE DOOR JUST A LITTLE SO THAT YOU CAN SEE IF THE SWITCH IS BEING FULLY CLOSED...I THINK I'M GOING TO HAVE TO ADJUST MY FRIDGE DOOR UP TO GET IT TO DO THIS FOR ME...WILL LET YOU KNOW IF THIS WORKS!!!!!
