Hi Christy, Viber appears to work only with OSx 10.7 and up, which is not supported on an iBook. When they say "viber can not supported by this architecture", they're referring to the iBook not having an Intel processor like the MacBooks do. Hope this helps!
Hi, I had sleepless nights with my customers TDP-P9 projector where I changed the lamp.
The lamp timer resetting gave me headache but now I finally solved the right combo:
1: Unplug the power cord
2: Hold down 'On/standby' 'Input' and 'up arrow' 3: While keeping the buttons pressed, insert the power cord and wait for the projectors led's to flash briefly and then power button to keep illuminated and then starting to blink.
4: Release the buttons and power on, it should now have 0 hours in the timer.
Dude, if you have all the current updates for your OS and applications, then you got a logic board issue. Especially if you you keep seeing the spinning beach ball of death or the dreaded white screen of death.
The iBook G4 is the poster child for logic board defects, because it has to do with the way the circuit boards were flowed. Apple won't fix this for the iBook G4. You got to do a big class action lawsuit like they did with the iBook G3 before they will replace the logic board.
Best bet is to sell this thing on e-bay as a non-working unit and get you a better laptop.
The cable that you are using isn't able to send enough of the signal to the projector, so its over compensating by puting in its own data, every now and then it needs to clear itself, Try using a better cable, I use Monster HDMI 400. Cost's a lot but picture has never been better.
The reason why the projector is shutting off is so the lamp doesn't explode. It's more of a safety feature on the projector, you can reset the lamp and it might work for another 500hours. If the picture is still pretty bright I can get you the reset procedure, but be warn that when the lamp does eventually blow it could shatter the glass inside, so be careful, it shouldn't hurt the unit.
