Oil amounts kxf250

It depends on the year of your bike, but most take about 1000-1100 mL(just over a quart). 946 mL per quart. There should be a sight glass on the bottom of the case that has lines on it showing your oil full level, and the bike has to be level to check for correct oil level. There is also usually casting numbers next to the fill hole that show how much oil to use (it will be in mL). Let me know if you need any more assistance, Daniel.

Just bought some wheels for my kawasaki kxf250 2007 model. the wheels are off a kxf250 2005 model. cant get the back wheel to fit because the chain touches the tyre. the chain and tyre are both the same as...

Sometimes the offset of the rims are different from model to model or the spacer width are different lengths from model to model ? Would be worth confirming with a Kawasaki shop if these wheel from 05 - 07 inter change or you could be bashing you head against the shed wall !
Another thought is I assuming it has spacers each side of the hub are they the correct side or does the rim look pretty centered in the swing arm as is ? Could be worth swapping just to see if any different - good luck regards Jamie

I need to know the gap for the camshaft and valves on 1982 kz1000

The factory spec is between .002" and .006" for both the intake and exhaust cams. However, the best performance is right at .006" Don't go looser than that or you may hear a ticking noise.

take off the cam cover look at your cam and there should be two lines on either side, make sure the bike is on top dead center and put the cam to where the two lines are level with the head. count 26 pins from line to line.

2004 kawasaki kxf250 its stuck in gear

More than likely you have a transmission issue. Could be a bent shifting fork, or a worn shift drum. It probably needs to be split, or opened up to determine.
