Just bought a used lawn machine 650 series and will not start .tried two new spark plugs champion RJ9PM spark plug still will not start gap at 30

Hi Robert:
Old dude wisdom:
1) Spark at the plug - Pull the plug, connect, hold against head, spin over, spark should be "hot" and blue.
2) Fuel in the jug - Drain carb, check fuel filter, fresh gas.
If it does not start or there is no spark, I'd be suspicious that the flywheel key has been sheared. Pull the flywheel, replace the key, and you'll be cutting grass like a wild thing.

Usually the first two number give you a hint. But to be sure you can check out the Winchester website to make sure. My guess is 1956.

The only other thing I can think of is maybe you put in the wrong kind of coolant? Not every type of coolant works in every car. Other than that, try head gasket sealer because if your head gasket is leaking, it can't be a big leak, otherwise you'd have problems right away.

I have a 95 Ford Windstar that stalls randomly after I run around for about 45 minutes or longer. It doesn't always do it. Once it stalls, when you try to start it, it will run very rough for 30 seconds...

When it won't start that's when you need to test to see what's missing ! Pull a plug wire an check for spark , if it has spark , check fuel pessure . There are videos on youtube showing how to do these test , some special tools are needed . Fuel pressure gauge , DVOM - digital volt ohm meter for testing electrical circuits . A scan tool for OBD 1 , Plus leaning how to test the systems , ignition , fuel , computer etc... You don't know any of this ,your best bet take it to a qualified repair shop. Here is a web site for free wiring diagrams . Enter vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size . Under system click on engine ,then under subsystem click ignition .Then click the search button ,then blue link . If no spark ,test for B+ voltage at the coil pack ,test ground circuit . Watch videos on youtube for testing crankshaft position sensor

Test , don't guess an just replace parts .

I have a 1990 Cadillac Deville that has been sitting for approximately a year. I have put a new battery, new plugs, and it has fuel and is getting fuel pressure. It will not start, it turns over but will...

If it was running fine prior to sitting, then the timing is probably OK. If it was sitting because of a blown head gasket then that's another story.
Did you check the pressure with a guage or just by probing the test port and watching fuel come out?
Make sure you are getting spark (probe the plug wire as close to the plug as possible with a test light or remove the plug from the engine, put back in wire and watch the plug for spark). If good move on to the coil, etc. Check the ignition relay.
Check the compression

Small block chevy 327 - water in oil. Car hadn't run in 15 years, started it, found oil discolored and foamy. Changed oil, added coolant, restarted. Hard to start didnt want to crank over, smoked blue,...

take out all the spark plugs and put a radiator pressre tester on the radiator and pressurize the system, then inspect each spark plug hole for coolant. you will find out what cylinder or head will need service. How did this car run before sitting? Blue smoke is not good, although it doesnt sound like you have run it long enough to verify any real cyl problems. if its smoking it may be overhaul time. and the complete engin ewill need disassembly.

Cleaning the "showerhead" on a gaggia expresso machine

Take it off, and heat up a pan of boiling hot water and add 1 cup of vinegar to two cups of boiling water. Once the water starts to boil, shut off the stove, and put the head in the pan, cover the pan and let it sit for about 30 minutes to 1 hour. Afterwards wash it really well then you will be good to go. The head does twist off
