The vehicle is 2004 buick century. sometimes the temp guage rises and comes back down. during this time, clod air blows. sometimes the temp guage is 1/2 way and cold air blows. thermostat has been changed....

is your electric fans running constantly. and most times then not you`ll need a water temp sensor or water temp relay. usually the temp sensor on that model comes usually next to the thermostat with a little wired plug on top. or on the radiator. either way pull the plug while the motor is cold. unscrew the sensor and screw the new one in and replace the electric plug back on top of the sensor. 2 things: Cold motor, have every thing set up and ready because when you take out the sensor the coolant will start to come out. you will not loose much if you work quick. keep rags or paper towels below the sensor to keep coolant off the motor and smelling when it gets hot. you have also pour or hose off coolant after your done installing the new coolant temp sensor.

How do I replace oil pan gasket on a 2003 Honda CR-V

if you ran water through the engine its mostly likely game over, cold water hitting your hot pistons and valves... your looking at fried rings, cracked valves possably a cracked block.... you may have gotten lucky but i have my doubts...

Alero fuse 46 keeps blowing

I have seen this before were the 46 fuse keeps blowing and it is usually after somone has had the radio and heater control out. There should be 2 wire harnesses that plug into the back of the heater control but the 1 will fit the extra plug on the back of the radio and the customer had the heater harness pluged into the radio. Radio worked fine but the rear defogger and a few other heater controls did not and it would blow the 46 fuse as soon as the key is turned on,.

Mackie CR 1604 - Fuse keeps blowing

This is a rare occurrance for these units. It means that either one or more of the rectifier diodes has shorted or that one of the voltage regulators is bad. In any case, this is not a unit I would suggest a novice attempt to repair. Can you update this with your location so I can suggest a repair center? The actual repair should be straightforward and not too expensive. Thanks, Dan
