Hi All. I'm a 64yr old woman and I bought a used BMS Heritage 150cc scooter. We didn't get a manual and I can't figure out how to start it. Help please!!!

Not sure a 64 year old lady should be riding a scooter. I am 65 and gave up two wheels 15 years ago!

This scooter is made in China, so details are not abundant.

reading the specs, it has electric start and also a kick start lever. So guessing, you turn the fuel on, you operate the choke lever, turn the ignition on, pull the front brake on, press the starter button and open the throttle a little.

There is a video of starting one from cold. This guy doesn't understand the concept. Once started, you have to keep using throttle until it is warm. The choke is probably automatic (and Chinese)!

1996 jeep cherokee temp gauge reads hot 10 mins. after start-up

If you have a viscous fan hub then have it replaced as it is not drawing air through the radiator at idle or slow speed (crawling traffic). Check that are no air locks in the system as they will cause heating problems.

Com1999 expedition 5.4 sputters and dies occasionaly at traffic lights or changing from rev to dr. very random no pattern engine temp makes no difference. No codes on scan. Otherwise runs great 175000...

Is it drive by wire throttle..It wont have a throttle cable..If it is the throttle body will get dirty and cause that problem,,without codes..You can clean it throughly,,and disconnect the neg terminal on the battery,,to reset the computer..Wait 10 min before you reconnect the battery..If it has a cable,,Then it could be the idle air,,which also a lot of the times will not throw the engine light..

How do I remove the throttle to replace the cable

unscrew the top of the carburator and see if the spring is compressed when turning the throttle. If this has been done, you can reattach if not broken, if so replace cable. You might check that the throttle was replaced into the carburator the proper way, it can be 180 degrees out.

98 jaguar xj8 won't start

Ten is not a problem persay but is it a traffic light to light ten miles? never really hittin any highway? If so ive seen lots of plug fouling from short trip situations like that. nothing wrong with car mechanically at all--just the way v8's are. They need taken out and run hard every couple months. Pretend your in the cannonball run--less your area is like mine and crawling with police :) Thanks hope I helped.
