The usual suspects are the timing and coils. Then there's a fouled plug/wrong plug possibility.
May I suggest a trip to your local library. Cycle repair books should be in 646 stacks of reference.

My 94 Thunderbird won't start until like the 4th crank, then it runs like a champ. It acts like it isn't getting any fuel. Please help!

You may be right on your hunch.
The fuel pump gets power from the pump relay for 3 seconds when you turn the key on, then no power until the engine starts. If the fuel pressure is low it could take several trys to get the pressure up to normal and the engine start.
A mechanic would check the pump relay and the fuel pressure with a gauge before and after cranking the engine.

Engine turns but won't start. OBD gets "link error".

Check all your fuses, there is one for OBDII Linkage. Also need to check if spark is present.

Um, have you checked the engine? Gas? Oil? I know. Dumb questions. But some peeps check everything before they check the gas and the oil.

I got a 1999 chevrolet tahoe. when i put the key in the ignition the head lights, and the dash light comes on but it won't even turn. i change the starter and got a new battery and it still won'

well if you have a dvom/voltmeter check the power at the starter terminals. the main terminal should have power all the time the key wire should have power only when the key is turned to crank engine. if you have power at both then i would start looking at grounds

Seriously overheated my 1999 sebring then something broke in the engine and know the engine wont turn even when on jacks and turned by hand. can u tell me what u think happened

If you overheated your engine to the point where it won't turn over, even by hand, then the engine is seized, probably due to the piston rings getting hot enough to melt into the cylinder walls. Start looking for a replacement engine.

I have a Yamaha R15 motorcycle.I havent ridden it for a couple of months. I tried starting it up but the engine does not turn over. The lights and horn works bur the engine does not start up . what should i...

First thing I'd do is charge the battery. Whilst there may be some residual charge left in it after 2 months or more, which is why you'll get a peep out of the horn and maybe some glimmer in the lights, there is probably insufficient power for the starter motor to turn over the engine which will be a very high current drain in comparison. Of course you could always try bump-starting it. Just need someone to give you a good push unless you live on a steep hill.
Hope this helps

Headlight won,t turn off even when engine off

hi I would check the Relay as the ignition only conects the small current to turn on and off, if the relay high power supply is stuck on you will get continuous power to the lights. Try taking the relay out and see if the lights go off..
