It can make the engine run very lean, this can cause piston damage, suggest you modify the fuel system to deliver more fuel.

Take that damn baffle out!!!!!!!!!!!! and adjust your mixture needle by turning it counter clockwise about a 1/8 to 1/4 turn depending on temp and altitude. or pick up a slip on exhaust silencer and it will come with instructions for tuning. full exhaust systems.. ie header and silencers will come with a new jet or instructions on how to make changes to your existing raising the needle and air screw adjustments.

I have a new 2010 wide glide i whount to remove baffles on stock pipes will this hurt bike? or due i have to change complet exhaust and intake?

Any change or modification to any of your vehicles systems can effect your bikes factory warranty! Removing the baffles from the existing mufflers is possible with the proper tools but I think that the internal catalytic converters will prevent this. Changing the entire exhaust or just the mufflers should require the addition of a electronic "fueler" to ensure optimum operation as your bike is delivered to the showroom from H-D running lean thanks to the EPA. For the DIYer I suggest looking at for exhaust options and accessories.

The BAFFLE fell off of Honda CRF 230 - replaceable? New exhaust?

I would say no. Is it just a slip on? Or was it clamped,? welded? How did it fall off? Even if the guts came flying out the end, they can be put back in. My exhaust system is just pressed together, I can pull it apart and rewrap the fiberglass and won't hurt a thing. Some exhausts are held together by a spring. Check it out. Hope this helps.

I have a 2009 CRF 230F. What size socket do I

It will be a metric size. The standard sizes are 13,14,17 and 19mm. The manuals will not say what size. Or just use a crescent wrench.

has anyone tried playing around with different size baffles on these bikes? I'd like to take some of the sting out of the bottom-end in some situations (tight singletrack) and I think a baffle might be the best/easiest way.Same muffler. If you choke it up with the baffles it will smooth it out some but not alot on the bottom mostly the topend.,,
