Probably a dirty contact in the starter switch on the bars, strip down inspect and clean, replace if broken. Maybe a flat or discharched battery, charge or replace battery. Loose cable to the starter, check and tighten. Relay faulty, replace with new. Starter soleniod fauly, replace. Starter motor fault, remove, inspect and repair, replace if required.

I have a 82 honda sabre 750 it cranks but will not start unless u bump start

Hi Eugene:
I had one of these. Great bike for power but personally, I did not like the low speed steering.
The hint you gave us is that it starts with a bump start. I'm assuming that it runs fine one alive. By bump start do you mean connecting an additional battery, or pushing it down a hill.
Bikes this old sometimes have had some interesting maintenance,
I'm thinking that when the starter is engaged, there is not enough voltage to the ignition. If it starts when connected to another battery, then the battery is probably ready to die and needs to be replaced.
Enjoy the ride. I'm on a 2008 Silverado 1100 these days. Perfect for an old dude with nothing to prove.

Car not starting turn key nothing happens has power

There should be a starter relay under the hood in the fuse box, get someone to bump the key and listen for it to close the circuit. the description should say PCM/ECM/STARTER something along those lines. If it doesn't click you may want to swap it for another in the fuse panel and retry. Be sure to check the fuse for the start circuit. The starter circuit is control by a module so there is no direct wire from the ignition switch straight to the starter. If you hear it click then you may want to use a test light and check for voltage at the starter (small wire on solenoid) while someone else bumps the key.

I have an intermittent electrical fault on my 94 dyna wide glide. every so often it just cuts out as if the ignition has been turned off or the kill switch has been pushed. once it stops all the lights,...

"sometimes it starts after jiggleing the wiring loom"

That right there says you have a shorted/broken wire somewhere in the area that you "jiggle", so get an Ohmmeter and start testing in that area.

Have a green light to start push button nothing this is a 1999 bigred atv

THE FIRST THING TO CHECK IS THE STARTER SYLINOID SOMETIMES JUST TAPING IT WILL DO THE TRICK ,,,THE WAY TO CHECK FOR SURE IS TO TAKE A FLATHEAD SCREWDRIVER AND CROSS IT FROM THE TWO WIRES CONECTED TO THE SYLINOID THIS WILL TELL YOU THAT ITS BAD,,,SIMPLE TRY IT WONT HARM A THING,,,,THEN YOU WILL KNOW ITS NOT THE STARTER,,MAY BE JUST A LOOS WIRE ON THE SYLINOID,,,, OH BY THE WAY ITS UNDER THE SEET..HOPE THIS HELPS.

Starter will not engage

Either your battery is bad or a connection has worked loose. Check battery cables (both ends) and if everything is tight replace the battery.
