The main should be slightly smaller than the secondary, so when you crack it to full throttle when overtaking it's not starving.

Primary Man Jet size # 99-101
Secondary main Jet size # 150

Where does the fuel line connect to the engine?

On most engines, fuel from the fuel line enters the carburetor's fuel bowl, a reservoir where a float, similar to the float ball in a toilet tank, regulates the fuel level. From there, a metering device called a jet lets fuel into the emulsion tube inside the pedestal, where fuel and air first mix. (Older models include an adjustable jet; newer models contain a fixed jet.) Fuel travels through the emulsion tube to the main passageway in the carburetor, called the throat or venturi, where further mixing occurs.

Bogging down when shifting. Spits fuel out of the filter side of the throttle body.

Clean the main jet and secondary jets. and make sure the cv slide diaphram is still soft and good condition.if all thats good it maybe time to adjust the valves.

I have a primary jet and secondary jet in the carburator of the 500 gl silverwing . and the jets I have is 75 and 125 which goes where . and what should be the setting on the air jet ?

The secondary main jet (125) goes into the jet needle holder in the center of the carb (needle). The primary main jet (75) is between the secondary main jet and the pilot screw (this one is slightly off center) . The start setting for your air screw should be 1 3/4 turns. Warm up your engine and drive for ten minutes. Adjust your idle speed to 1100 + or - 100 rpm. Now turn pilot screw in or out to get highest idle speed. Readjust idle to 1100 rpm. Now turn pilot screw in till idle speed drops 100 rpm. If pilot screw seats go to next step. Adjust the pilot screw out 1 full turn from 100 rpm drop point. Now reset Idle to 1100 rpm. That is how Honda says to set your air screw. Standard setting is probably sea level and going through the procedure will set you up for the altitude where you ride. Do the adjustment during good weather at the altitude you plan to do the most riding.

Can't adjust carburator.

look on the carburetor. there will be 2 screws right beside eachother. one is an idle jet and the other is the main jet. if you want faster or slower idle speeds, adjust idle jet. if you want more power, adjust the main jet. you have to get them set just right . they might smoke a little bit because you are throwing more fuel to it which means you are getting a richer mix

Rejetting carbs

Remove the carb. Remove the throttle slide. Remove the float bowl. The main jet is right in the center and has a number stamped on it (110, 200, etc) The pilot is the smaller jet and usually right next to the main. Larger #'s flow more fuel (Richer mix). The Carb works like this. 0 to 1/4 throttle is controlled by the pilot jet and slide cutaway, 1/4 to 3/4 is by the needle and main jet, 3/4 to wfo is the main. There are lots of good literature for free on the internet about this topic. Goggle it.

My spark plug is going black all the time

Your too rich with fuel. Two stroke? 32:1 is what you should mix to, then jet to make the plug run chocolate brown. Run it at an idle and read the plug, and adjust the idle or pilot jet to get a good color. Then run it 1/2 to 3/4 throttle for a good while, kill the engine and re-check the plug for the main jet. The needle clip adjustment is for between the pilot and main.
