Couple of things you will need to check:

check connections on coil and on battery
check your fuel filter to make sure its not clogged
check the termination from you battery hot down to the starter. It's not unusual for the cable to be kinked at the starter
and last thing give your battery cables a tug and see if the wire pulls out of the lug, if it does then you have a bad connection and need a new battery cable.

It could be fuel problem. Please check the fuel lines, the filter, the pump etc.

No power to 2001 yamaha 1600 road star. battery good, fuses good, starter relay good.

Hi, David and the usual suspects are:
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Discharged battery, needs to be 12.5 volts or better and be able to pass a load test if necessary, check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
4. Bank angle sensor tripped and ignition/light key switch not cycled to the "OFF" position and then back to the "ON" position.
5. Faulty ignition switch.
6. Faulty starter button.
7. Faulty kickstand or clutch pull in switch/sensor.
8. Security alarm needs a reset.
9. Starter control circuit, relay, or solenoid faulty.
10. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
11. Electric starter shaft pinion gear is not engaging or over-running starter clutch slipping.

I have a 94 ford ranger, 4 cylinder 8 spark plugs, 150 thousand on it, the vehicle has ran flawlessly until a week ago, the first sign was driving down the road it started skipping and had a huge loss of...

Two plugs per cylinder? Just wondering why it has twice as many plugs as it does cylinders.

Anywho; have you tried fresh wires, or at least swapping them around?

2009 Honda Shadow Aero ran fine yesterday, stopped for about 3 hours would not start last night. Turned over would not start, help?

sounds like a CDI issue!
could also be an ignition switch or run/stop switch issue.
is the bike lacking any power when running?
Maybe stator pick-up coil as well.
Have electrical components checked at the dealer.

Just turns off on it's own, Wait 60 sec. restart press pedel it dies.

This engine is electronically controlled so the first thing that must be done here is to have the systems control computer tested for fault codes and then do the proper diagnostics based on those codes.

I recently ran completely out of gas in my Ford Escort and it sat on the side of the road for two days and when i put gas into the car and tried to get it home it would not start.

Don't run out completely, because it is hard on the fuel pump to run when dry.
But now you need to get the air out.
Remove one of the fuel line fitting somewhere in the engine compartment, then turn the key on and off many, many times, until fuel makes it to the opening.
Then close it up and it should start.

75 Stingray stalled while driving

Sounds like the ICM is going bad.(Unless for some weird reason you have points)It is locate inside the distributor.

I had the same problem on my firebird after it was parked for 3 months, the heat grease just broke down and allowed it to over heat.

You should also check the fuel screen on the fuel inlet.

Please rate this a fixya
