Thgis could be many things, my best guess would be a bad earth somewhere causing a back feed blowing these fuses. If this is one fuse controlling the Fuel Pump and Odometer, check what else is connected on that circuit.

Caprice classic 1991 model fuel pump will not come on. fuse mounted underhood next to ABS relay blows upon contact with circuit

e fuel pump motor may have failed, causing a short and blowing the fuse. Try unplugging the fuel pump connector at the pump, then turn key on with a new fuse in place. If the fuse blows again, it could be a short in the pump's wiring. If the fuse doesn't blow, it is likely a bad pump.

Car is not getting gas to motor even after new fuel filter is installed

If you change the fuel filter and still not getting fuel to the engine, then the other possible problems are:
- Clogged fuel lines due to 'dirty' fuel.
- Defective Fuel Pump which may not provide enough pressure to 'push' the fuel pass your new filter.

Hope it helps.

Why would fuel system fuse blow in a 1996 Tracker 4 Door ? It seem's to blow immediately when I try to start the vehicle.

the fuel pump circuit has a short in it. either the wiring or the pump motor. if you can disconnect the pump motor, try turning the ignition to the on position to see if the fuse blows. this will tell you if the motor is bad or the wiring is bad. if the fuse doesn't blow suspect the pump.

2003 chevy cavalier car won't start but engin will cranck.

may be your fuel pump or the fuse for your fuel pump.turn the key on and if fuel pump is working you should hear a short low humming noise.that is the fuel pump sending gas to your engine. If you dont hear that noise, that may be your problem

My pump motor fuse keeps blowing when i try to start my car. I tried swapping out relays and it doesn't change the result. I removed my battery and battery casing to inspect the wiring under the fuse...

pump motor??
you mean fuel pump if it is the case look to replace the all pump ,if it is really worn it could cause the fuse to blow
you can also look for your fuel pump relay ...it-could also be the probleme!
give me new's
