Yeah, keep the airbox on, it will blow back anyway, it's normal.

How many turns of low idle screw for 1986 johnson 30 hp, ELCDM

Start with one. Bring the speed down slowly. If the motor "sneezes" and dies ,open more, maybe one-half turn and restart. If engine now runs as you idle down, slowly turn in the idle screw until the motor starts to speed up without moving the throttle. A little more and it should sneeze again. From the point where it started to speed up, back the adjustment about one eighth to one quarter turn open. See how it runs. If you have to open the idle screw way out or it keeps sneezing you probably need to clean the carb.

Whining noise when extreme cold days, that goes away when my 2005 Mariner warms up. Seems to come and go until the car warms up.

Alternators can sometimes whine when start up on a cold morning, they run on full load till they get the battery back up to full charge. When the whining stops, switch on electrical equipment (Headlights, fan full boost, heated rear window) if the whining starts again its the alternator.

I have a bad cough. How do I stop the germs from spreading to my family?

Make sure you cover your nose and mouth every time you sneeze and throw the tissues you use in the bin straight away.

Always clean your hands with soap and water after you sneeze or use an anti-bacterial hand wash.

Don't share cups and utensils with your family members and try not to let them get unnecessarily close to you.

Partner k650 wont start when warm

This is a pretty common carb issue, the needle in the carb is leaking, if dirt has been throgh it then the needle seat will be worn, the only answer to this is a new carb unfortunatly.

Mitsubishi Triton V6 lacks power on acceleration

full power is only achieved when the engine is fully warm(operating temp).so if you accelerate more than, say, a third of the gas pedal, the car will feel sluggish.
this is more apparent when first starting the car in the morning in winter.almost like the car is going to stall.
most wear in the engine is leaving it to idle when cold you should always drive the car straight away from cold.then when hot turn on the a/c if required....

My cbr 600 f2 1993 had been sitting for a long time

Sounds like the carbs were not properly cleaned or set up. Choke should cause the cold start rpms to be higher than what you are experiencing. Application of choke to a warmed up engine will usually cause the engine to stall.

My husband sneezed(and it dried)on the screen of our vizio hdtv, how should I clean it off?

Sneeze on it again then wipe it off with a soft cloth. Sorry too many glasses of wine.uhhh. Use warm water on a soft cloth or spend money and get a screen cleaner.
