My 02 gszr bucks or jerks when taking off or riding below 3000 rpm then runs great when it hits 3000 or about. i can ride it but have to slip the clutch or hammer it taking off

I suggest you check the exhaust pipe on each cylinder when you start the bike in the morning. My guess is that one cylinder is not firing properly. The "cold" pipe is the bad cylinder. If you haven't done it already, stick in a set of new spark plugs. I am surprised that the fuel injection system isn't sending sending the " FI "signal. Is the air cleaner clean? Good gas?

Loss of power above 3000 rpm

You have a fuel delivery problem. Open the gas cap on the bike & try. This will prove if a vacuum is happening inside the tank (plugged vent). Check fuel filter. Check fuel pump. Check fuel pressure regulator.
