Taking the wheel off is simple. Take the two bolts that hold the brake caliper into the bracket out and remove the caliper. Then take the nut off the end of the axle and slide the axle out. Pay particular attention to or mark the spacers at to where they go.

Installation is the opposite of removal. This all must be done correctly or the possiblilty of severe injury or death can result. Make sure you check everything over twice, including the brakes, before attempting to ride the bike. I've known people that were killed in accidents that were caused by improper installation of the rear wheel on a motorcycle. Make sure you do it correctly or take it to someone that knows what they are doing.

Insurance wants to replace 1 tire after vehicle wreck. Tire wear 6/32 on front 8/32 on rear tires. What drive problems will result from replacing just one tire? The vehicle is a 2004 Endeavor

I used to work for a insurance company. I have also been in the auto body busn. since 1980. I have seen this many times. In the past I have put the new tire on the back. Then put the best 2 of the remaining tires on the front. As long that rotation of the tires is in line with what your owners manual recomends. Very few insurance companies will put two tires on, when only one is damaged. If you do put 1 new tire on the front it might pull a little or drift a little to one side or the other.

There are a multitude of ways a tire will wear unevenly and they all have unique causes. You can take it to a good tire shop and they will be able to diagnose what your specific problem and solution are.

2004 Audi A8L, irregular tire wear. Outer blocks of tires are feathering. Rough when sliding hand over tire from front to rear, smooth from rear to front. 255-45/18 34psi cold. new Bridgestone Turanza...

Once the alignment is good just keep rotating at least every 6,000 miles. Aggressive tread designs on these cars have to be pampered or you will get the feathering

Hello! put new tires on it and now I hear a rumbling sound at the rear when I lower the windows

you need to get a narrower tire. the rubbing is from the tires being to wide and the are rubbing on a panel or shock.
