You will most likely have a bad earth somewhere in the wires from the power source to the lamp. But you probably already know this, the wires should be checked for continuity and resitance between eachother with a multimeter. If these are readings abnormal the loom will have to be replaced by a professional or if you are confident order the part and do it yourself. Good luck.

How do you replace the bulbs in the headlamp on a audi A8 2004

The front bumper must be removed. After it is removed there are three Hex bolts securing the headlamp to the car. 2 visible (1) not so visible resides in a hole on the right of the drives lamp, left on the passanger lamp. Ensure you disconnect the battery PRIOR to starting this job. If you are replacing HIDs the ballast should be your first choice, then bulbs.
Here is the information on the bulb:
HID Lamp (Low Beam), Replacing
WARNING:HIGH VOLTAGE.Always disconnect negative (-) battery terminal prior to servicing any parts of the HID lamp system marked with the yellow "HIGH VOLTAGE"symbol. After disconnecting battery, briefly turn headlights on and off in order discharge any residual voltage.
CAUTION:
Before beginning repairs on the electrical system:

· Switch off all electrical consumers.
· Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.
· Disconnect negative (-) battery terminal.
· When disconnecting and reconnecting battery terminals, observe all applicable Notes and torque specifications, as well as instructions on performing OBD program and electrical system function .
Removing.Activate "jacking" mode.Disconnect battery.Remove appropriate front wheel.Remove front left wheel housing liner.
Loosen locking bolt -1- a few turns.
Release retainer tabs -arrows- and remove housing cover for low beam from headlight housing.Disconnect electrical connector -1- at ignitor.
Turn ignitor -2- counter-clockwise -arrow- and remove.Disengage spring clip -1-.
Remove HID lamp -2- from headlight housing.

Need to get the headlamp assembly off a 2006 jeep grand cherokee how do I get it off?

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. 2. Remove the cover from over the top of the front lamp unit (1). (Refer to 08 - Electrical/8L - Lamps and Lighting/Lamps/Lighting - Exterior/UNIT, Front Lamp - Removal) . 3. Remove the grille from the front of the vehicle. (Refer to 23 - Body/Exterior/GRILLE - Removal) . 4. If the front lamp being serviced is on the same side of the vehicle as the engine fresh air intake tube, unsnap the air intake tube from the air cleaner housing and remove it from between the lamp and the radiator yoke hydroform. 5. Remove the three screws (3) that secure the two lower and the upper inboard lamp mounting brackets to the front end sheet metal. 6. If equipped, remove the push pin fastener (2) that secures the upper outboard lamp mounting bracket to the top of the radiator yoke hydroform. 7. The lower inboard lamp mounting bracket is captured between a metal mounting bracket on the top of the front frame crossmember and a tab of the plastic front fascia reinforcement. Push the tab of the front fascia reinforcement forward far enough for lamp mounting bracket clearance while maneuvering the lamp unit inboard during removal. 8. Pull the lamp away from the front of the vehicle far enough to access and disconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector (5) from the pigtail connector on the back of the lamp housing. 9. Remove the lamp unit from the vehicle.

Mits 527252 ballast

Good Day; I would suspect the ballast, but try these first:

Causes: Cause #1 1. (Lamp may light and go out) suspect bad lamp part # 915P020010 2. Check for 12-volts DC at J-9 connector pin 4 on the Engine Driver PCB, if missing check for an open F9A09 on the Power PCB, if it is open replace F9A09 part # 283P127060 and the Light Engine part # 939P977010 3. (Lamp may light and go out) Check for 5-volts DC at J-9 connector pin 1 and 2 on the Engine Driver PCB if low or missing check C9A37 and C9A38 both 3300 UFD 10 V part # 181P732040 on the Power PCB (part # 930B921002) 4. At power on the lamp turns on and off three times and then the unit shuts down with a red lamp LED (lamp error). Replace the Light Engine part # 939P977010 5. Lamp enable line at J14 pin 6 does not switch to 5 volts after turn on, 12 and 5 volt supplies are good. Suspect the Light Engine part # 939P977010 6. Lamp enable line at connector J14 pin 6 on the Engine Driver PCB switches to 5 volts after turn on and does go to 0-volts (low) after 5 seconds, 12 and 5 volt supplies are good. Suspect the Lamp Power PCB (ballast) part # 939P978010 7. Lamp enable line at connector J14 pin 6 on the Engine Driver PCB switches to 5 volts after turn on but does not go back to 0-volts (low) after 5 seconds, 12 and 5 volt supplies are good. Suspect the Light Engine part # 939P977010. Good Luck, big IRISH.

WD-62327 Lamp

OSRAM VS. PHILLIPS
This is about buying replacement bulbs for the WD62327 TVs.I dont know about the other models but I purchased a PHILLIPS replacement bulb and it worked for about a week and then those dumb flashing lights and no TV. I did some research and others were saying that you had to replace some condensers. Shop would do it for 600 dollars..Well i sent the bulb back and bought an OSRAM replaement bulb. The TV is now working perfect.
