Use 10w40 oil in the bike. Do not use synthetic oils or oils with "special" additives. The fancy oils often swell the friction plates in the clutch then you need a new set of clutch plates.

Could you take a moment and rate my answer? Thanks!

2004 FZ6 Fazer: oil for a 2004 fx6?...

The recommended engine oil for the Yamaha FZ6 is as follows: SAE 10W30, SAE 10W40, SAE 15W40, SAE20W40, or SAE 20W50. The exact weight will depend on the average temperatures the motorcycle will be exposed to.
Any oil you use must meet the following standards: API service SG type or higher, JASO standard MA.
Be sure you buy an oil that DOES NOT have friction modifiers for increased fuel economy. These are NOT for use with a "wet" clutch, such as those found on motorcycles.

What oil goes in my 2001 xr400

It depends on the temperatures you run it in.Honda recommends SAE 10W-40 API : SF or SG.
In hot climates they work better with SAE 15W-50 semisynthetic.
I wouldn't recommend fully synthetic for every day's use.It is too thin and you while have to add some every 5-6 days of use.Usually fully synthetic oil is used in race.

Oil weight for primary and transmission on 2003 Road King

You could get away with it for awhile, but I would only use oil formulated for the primary chain case, and for that part of the machine, I stick with Harley brand, dont forget , u got clutch plates in there u dont want slipping. For the tranny you wanna use a good grade gear oil (75W-90, 75W-110,75W-140, SAE 190 & SAE 250) .... it'll better handle the torque requirements. I use Redline Gear Oil and shifting has improved noticeably
