It seems to be common on these bikes. My W650 pinks on light load then it disappears with wider throttle openings. Kawasaki engineers say it is "normal ignition noise" . I am trying higher 97 octane fuel but not much difference so far. I don't think the ignition timing can be altered so ther is not much we can do.

Have not changed the battery in my kawasaki w650 before and have no idea how to do it. Could you please describe how to do this.

Remove the seat (probably one to three bolts at the rear of the seat) to find the battery. Remove the hold down bracket ... disconnect the wires - pull the battery.

If you will go to the Kawasaki rider site, I believe there is a better description of this procedure.

Have you checked the compression, and valve clearences ?
If so then there is a carburetor clean an ballance and/or air cleaner to look at.
Also might pay to put a new set of plugs in before tuning.

Carburetor ballance make the difference between smooth as silk and vibrating pig on my twin.

Printing postcards

Hi, You can print postcards in either the manual tray (1) or Tray 2 . But if you have a tray three installed you cannot print postcards, envelopes, etc... I recommend printing them from the manual tray and what you can do is either in your printer setting on your pc adjust which trays you want to use for printingpostcards. Or you can use the printers menu and go to paper handling and manual select which paper sizes you wish to use in each tray.
