Question about 1988 Honda VFR 400 R NC24
I have a loud whining noise when reving the engineand it also has a massive power loss to the point where im lucky if it gets to 50mph. any ideas?
The loud whining noise is just normal for vfr 400 because it is gear driven cam.. As you reach 5000rpm up, the bike's electrics try to misfire the plugs so it would act as a speed limiter (180kph).. You have to bypass the sensor at the speedo..

The loud noise is normal mate, even though it might sound like theres a problem...my vfr 400 makes the loud whining noise aswell, but nothing is wrong with it
