It may be your plugs and or wires. Make sure your plugs are the resistance type and the plug wires are shielded.

Sounds like a main circuit breaker tripping. That's going to be tough to find. It's an intermittent short somewhere. This would be my "best guess".

I have a Protron PLTV 32' LCD and its making crackling noise out of the right speaker.

Hello
If the crakling sound is from only comes from right speaker, it will be a speaker trouble. In some speakers, the voice coil will get damaged, and if so, this kind of distortion will occur. Replace the speaker with same type and diamensions. Note the 'Ohm' [resistance] of the coil, which will be marked on the speaker. There will be markings like 4Oms 6W, 8Ohms 10W or so. Choose the correct value of these. That is the only thing should mind when choosing speaker. OK.

What causes crackling in speakers? I have Bose 501's and one of the 8 inch is crakling during lower tones.

The usual cause is that excess power has been sent to the speaker cooking out the voice coil which will then rub the magnet pole pieces.
A less likely cause is contamination in the speaker.

Driving high power to the speaker will deform the voice coil. DO NOT believe what the manufacturer rates these speakers. You need to use an amplifier with no more capability of output than 1/4 the rating.

For the 501V speakers each side amp should be rated at no more than 25 Watts to each side.

Very loud bass notes at higer levels will make quick work of these speakers.

The cure is to have the speaker "re-coned" at a speaker repair facility AND use smaller amplifier driving them.

How do i check if my amp is still good?

first make sure that you have power check the red thick wire, and the remote wire with a voltmeter if its ok then disconect the rca plugs now get a pair of rca wires plug one end to the amp and touch the other end if it makes noise your amp is good ( please be very carefull as it will make a loud noise on the speakers when you touch the other end if the amp is good) good luck

Toshiba tv making crackling noises

Is the sound coming from the speakers or from inside the tv, like an electrical arc? It could be the high voltage wire going to the picture tube. Do not attempt to test this yourself as there is many thousands of volts on that wire even when the tv is turned off. That wire attracts dirt that may be causing it to arc.

Screaming crackling noise when very hot

Crakling sound is a symptom of loose or cold solder in amplifier section where the STK IC or Darlington transistor is located .You better re solder all parts joints there in order the crackling sound is gone.

Hope it may help you;
